Instruction of Terrestrial Antenna

Terrestrial TV broadcasting is also called as ground wave broadcasting.
It is using frequency spectrum. In other words, images and sounds from broadcasters are being used by receiving antennas, and viewers will get signals with antennas.
So, if you have an antenna, you can watch terrestrial TV channels for free!

Terrestrial DTV broadcasting is for watching High Definition TV. So its data rate is much faster than DMB. It is about 20Mbps. So receiving in the moving vehicle is difficult.
It is possible to watch on ships anchored in shores.
Terrestrial DTV broadcasting is using high frequency. So it is possible to receive the signals in high-rise buildings or apartments.
Terrestrial DTV broadcasting is for replacing analogue TV.
There are many countries begun to transmit the Terrestrial DTV broadcasting systems.
